I favor every bit of media Dottovu is in, but my most favorite has to be the "High Range Test video" 10 years ago, it was my first time hearing dot and finding her channel, she blew me away, she was super funny and I loved her voice as she tried to go higher and higher. Seeing this video made me understand how goofy and fun this person is, so I decided to support them my whole life, and now here I am, 10 years later and still appreciating everything they do and make. Love ya Dot, you're stronger than this storm!

It would probably have to be Villain. Such a vibrantly smooth song with very subtle and fun undertones of...well...villainy that just makes the song so much fun to hear. You can tell that she's enjoying herself singing it and it elevates the final work. I hope that she can continue to have fun with her voice, its truly one of the greats!

My favorite video is and always will be Admiration [Japanese Voice Acting Practice]. I remember coming across it way back then and crying buckets. I didn't believe it before then, but right at that moment I understood why there are people who cry while watching art. Its sheer emotion and storytelling really impacted me. Like a domino effect, it truly bifurcated my path in life, and now I'm part of this wonderful community. It's surprising, now that I consider it. I can't thank you enough, Dottovu.

When I first discovered Dottovu, one of the first songs of their’s I listened to was Someone Someday, and it made me bawl my eyes out. I was in an extremely dark place in my life back then and that song spoke to me. Once I played Please Be Happy I was able to hear that song again with proper context and cry all over again, this time out of joy. That is why Someone Someday is my favorite Dotto song and Miho is my favorite role of theirs. They both spoke to me at my darkest time and helped me see the light, and I want Dotto to get see that light again too. If I had the power to, I’d give Dott a hug so I can remind them of how much they mean to me and all of the Dotters who were given strength through their wonderful voice 🫂

Back in 2021, i was in a pretty dark spot, Covid left its marks and depression hit me hard

Neither my profesionnal or private life gave much hope

But at the time, i discovered a streamer who helped me a lot

And in 2022, i truly got over that phase thanks to "Someone Someday", You gave me hope that maybe i could be happy one day

I started taking classes, worked on a few projects about you, learning 3D so that i could maybe give you back something someday

I kept watching your content, and four years later, I’m working as a professional at a 3D studio in France! I’m happy!

Dott being Dott is the best, whenever I'm feeling without energy or inspiration I always turn to the parody MVs or cover songs because they always make me laugh, or they're positive enough and reminds me of Wilde's quote "We're all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars". And so here I'm trying to do the same for them, because they're the star that I've been looking for inspiration for better days and to never give up, even when things look grim and gloomy they've always shine bright to make me look and get a better tomorrow. Peaches in Toad voice, the Take On Me cover still makes me have those goosebumps and Someone Someday are some of those videos that have that effect. (Sorry no art, except writing I'm bad at drawing.)

OwO from One Dreamer. Playing this game and coming across the machine I didn't think much of it. But much later finding out that Dottovu voiced the machine was shocking, since typically you can spot out familiar voices because they tend to be type casted, but I straight up didn't expect her to be voicing the machine and made me realize how much range she must have, especially compared to her natural voice.

Maroon 5 - Memories [Cover]

This is, without a doubt, my favorite cover Dottovu has done so far. I listened to this for 2 months straight when it came out, and I still come back to it every now and then. It's so melancholic it almost hurts, in a good way.

I just want Dott to be happy. I'm no great artist, vocalist, or writer, but I hope my words reach that lovely heart of yours.

Never change who you are for people who do not deserve it. You've shown how much you care about people, and also shown your passion and commitment to your craft.

I really liked Dottovu’s parody cover of fly me to the moon, their singing talent is always so nice to hear but its made special with how nostalgic i am for the anime itself/the delivery of the parody is so seamless and perfect ‘in other words, catch these hands, in other words coward fight me’ is so peak and it just embodies dottovu a little bit, and brought me onto their peak, never change if you see this Dottovu, thank you for your time guys!

By far my favorite VA role is Miho and the song Someone Someday. Please Be Happy is honestly one of my favorite games that I absolutely love and I think is overall an amazing game, but hearing Dottovu voice Miho really added a lot to the character for me. It was such a heartfelt story with such a simple message and hearing Miho figure that out for herself was really endearing and the voice acting really added to that. I actually remember finding the song 'Someone Someday' before learning about the game and almost instantly loving the song upon hearing it and just watching the game's trailer I already knew I was gonna love Miho as a character and the voice acting. Miho is so full of life and it really showed me a new perspective on things.

I was first captured by your magnificent voice in your cover of Fly me to the Moon some 5 years ago now. It was this cool voice that hit just the right things that I liked. Since then, you have just went onwards and upwards. Villain came as a wonderful surprise for me as I am a Villain fan. You pulled that beautifully especially with the different delivery of emotions throughout the song. I’ve enjoyed many of their works, from the official voice roles, to the meme posts, and the covers, but one thing that stands out to me are the Song of the Ancients cover. It’s what made me want to follow and support Dott for as long as possible. Their voice, and the emotion felt in singing the chaos language, really moved me emotionally, and it’s been a fun ride as a Dotter ever since.

Before I share my favorite Dottovu-related work, I felt obligated to say: I didn't realize then, but my first exposure to Dottovu's voice acting in any capacity was a Splatoon comic fan dub. It was about Marie asking Callie to practice chargers. It really is a small world. As for my favorite of her works, I’d have to say Miho from Please Be Happy. She captures the lonely fox’s innocence and sweetness perfectly and it helped me get invested in her growth and her interactions with her potential romance options. Her performance also helped me relate to Miho, as I tend to feel like a stranger hoping for friendship and belonging, which I ultimately found with Dott and her community. In other words, I am grateful to Dottovu for leading me home.

There's so much good stuff to be talking about possibly, and I have to admit I'm bad at picking/remembering stuff. But y'know, there's always gonna be a special place in my brain for Miho, I don't know why, it hits me just right at the time. Though not gonna lie, Pot-chan from Sushi Ben is so silly it's so funny. But also damn man, the songs of recent years, they be going through a range that makes it hard to choose, Villain is cool as hell, Memories got that emotional something and Someone Someday got that softness that pulled at my mind. So not to be that guy that picks "everything" as their favorite, but like. Kinda...

My favourite work is their role as Olive Penn in Twofold. Not only was the story impactful for me but the way they deliver their lines and their range is inspiring. Olive is already a wonderful character on their own but the work Dott put in voicing them really shows and it makes it a memorable experience and emotional at times.

I always liked Memories as a song, but I started loving it only after I heard you sing it, so much that whenever I hum it in my head or hear it on the radio, your voice is the only one I hear singing. This is not just my favorite of all your covers, but a song that makes me feel emotional and gives me a sense of peace and (bittersweet) warmth like no other song has ever done. Your voice has this kind of power. There is a parallel between your Memories and you, because both have such a positive impact not only on my days, but on my life. I know that even when I am an elderly man, I will cherish this song, all you do, and the time I am lucky to spend with you as some of my most precious memories. Honestly, it's difficult to choose my favorite Dotto role or video, but if I had to pick one, it would be when Dotto sang "Villain." I'm a big fan of that style of music, and Dotto's voice truly brought the song to another level for me. I remember the first time I heard it—I got chills down my spine. It's hard to fully explain why I love the song and Dotto's performance, but if I had heard it as a young teen, I would have played it nonstop or even made it my ringtone.

While this might be a more obvious answer, the first time I ever watched you (and your channel) was discovering your OwO Whats This video and your Bitch Wasagna cover in close succession and then I pretty much instantly subscribed on the spot. I still rewatch them every so often to this day partially cause they remind me of good old times, but also genuinely because they're still funny/catchy (your Peaches cover is also up there!)

A favorite song of mine is NieR's 'Song of the Ancients', and when you added your voice and talent to it in your cover, you elevated an already amazing song in a way that only you could do.

I really like Dott's voice.

She has a lot of potential.

She gets into character very quickly and always finds the perfect voice for the character she's voicing.

It's really hard for me to pick a favorite since any instance of hearing Dott makes me calm and happy, however, a particularly positive memory of mine is a couple years back, when the Memories cover was still recent, I had watching it A LOT because it's absolutely beautiful, and my best friend was visiting town, she was dropping me off at home for the night and the normal version of the song came up on the radio, so, naturally I sang along since I knew the lyrics. This completely flabbergasted her because, as she said, "YOU don't sing along to ANYTHING" (and she was right, I basically don't), which made me and her partner break out laughing, so, I'm always happy that being a Dotter gave me this core memory.

My favorite Dott role, by far, is their cover of Villain. Their voice in the cover is magnificent and it fits the song so perfectly it is crazy.

I also greatly admire Dott's creativity and range as a VA, being so versatile is incredible and it shows that she puts her best into everything she does.

I love Dott's Memories cover! I'm not especially versed in all of the content she's in but I listen to a lot of music while I'm at work or just driving around and there are many times I just skip all the way to her covers with this one being the most frequent one. This song has always been a great source of nostalgic vibes and as I grow older, I feel like I can resonate with its message more and more. When she dropped this cover, I must've looped it in the background for a solid month straight. I still find myself skipping to it to listen every now and again & its a very subtle but present part of my daily routine. She puts a lot of passion and care in her work but this cover in particular hits home. My favorite Dottovu “role” wouldve been of the dub videos, especially “OwO What’s This?”, “Hewwo…? UwU”, and “Peaches but Toad sings it”, on her youtube channel, albeit my first encounter with them have all been random encounters, whether it be finding myself randomly watching one of them while clicking through meme videos on youtube or on some random uncredited meme video format. But no matter if its only a funny meme dub, they all show the amazing talent and VA range Dottovu has when it comes to voice acting and creating a character/tone. It truly is just amazing and wonderful (and silly and cute!!)

I'm not good at describing someone's talent, but every time I hear Dottovu's voice acting, I love how she's able to portray such a wide range of characters and personalities: if you want a villain, she's got you covered; if you want someone energetic, sweet and kind, she can do that too. It's been hard for me to find someone with such a natural talent who can tackle every role in so many languages, but it's also hard to pick what I like most about her work. But If I have to choose real quick I'd go for the Cover "Memories".

I have always resonated with Olive from Twofold, their story hit too close to home in a lot of aspects, after playing it, i felt more motivated and decisive about what i wanted to do, Dottovu's voice giving the emotions and the right tones for the situations, will always be one of my favorite characters from her!

My heart is always going to lie with my favorite gremlin Miho, because she was my first exposure to your longform work. But the thing is like, whenever anyone talks about how "Oh, Dott's range tho" it's usually about the extremes, the cool, the cutie, energetic or elegant, etc. Yet, the thing that's stuck with me has never been any specific voice, but how you are a compelling speaker and vocalist who keeps bringing in something New and Unexpected with every performance.

Favorite song sung by Dott has to be Song of the Ancients. I haven't heard much music form the Nier series, but after stumbling across Dott's cover, my interest sky rocketed. Her cover feels like something ephemeral and yet stagnant? But in a good way. I find it's hard to put into words but I love listening to it.

Your Nier Song of the Ancients cover is very special to me since it is from one of my favorite games ever and it was the first thing I’d heard from you. I happened to come across it when searching for the Nier soundtrack. I’d been stuck feeling melancholic for a while, but discovering such a masterfully done cover really cheered me up. Ironic for a piece of music from a game in which both story and soundtrack can leave me depressed for days after (in a good way). I’d never felt so blessed to have been able to listen to anything before, so thank you for allowing us the privilege of hearing your voice.

Honestly, this was really difficult to choose. Almost impossible even.

The first thing that came to my mind was the "Memories" cover. She sang so beautifully, with calm, peaceful, yet subtly intense feelings of nostalgic vibes.

But if I have to pick my favourite, that would be her character demo reel video uploaded in 2023.

In one minute and 31 seconds, Dott showed her great potential in voice acting with various types of characters that feel like they are alive and building a wonderful story! With it, knowing that she put so much effort into and studied voice acting makes me look forward to her journey as a VA. Hope Dott can do all the roles she wants, and if she can be proud of herself, I'd be truly happy. Always.

My favorite is Someone Someday this song helped me get through a bad year. I like her voice so much it really make me feel like I’m not alone. Oh and please be happy I haven't played yet but I plan to play it soon. Well I'm not good at expressing my feelings through typing and my english is also bad but I really want to explain it. As someone who ardored playing The Last of Us pt 2, whenever I get to the Ellie scene of her playing "take on me", I can't help but think of your rendition/cover of the song. To share a little about a cover I love a lot, I absolutely enjoy listening to your cover of Memories. Previously I never listened to the song too much and sort of dismissed it as radio filler. But your cover turned my opinion around. Your gentle voice accompanied the melancholy of the lyrics wonderfully. Now whenever I replay that cover, I am compelled to think deeper and remind myself of the people in my life who I have and cherish, the people I used to know and no longer don't, and what I can do to keep people around longer.

Just in general, your voice is wonderful and I hope to be around a little longer just to hear you speak, laugh, and sing some more.

I put it here because I think it's funny and endearing to randomly see a Dot passionately writing a 300 words essay about an indie horror rpg game, and I would like to see more of that. Not the 300 words essay part, but just Dot being herself and having fun doing whatever she wants. If I had to nail down my favorite song Dotto ever did, it would be hands down Peaches but if it was sung by Toad, that got me laughing my ass off when that dropped. That'd be my fun pick cause it was just so damn funny. Though my real pick would still be Song of the Ancients. Such a beautiful rendition that I still go back to from time to time on slower or rainy days. Ya got a hell of a singing voice man, and it's just been up and up since then! I really like how these lyrics are able to show how relationships are in life. Indeed, we may forget some parts here and there. Those moments may not always be on our mind, but we still cherish them. I think these ones highlight the relationship between you and the dotters quite nicely.

if we're talking about my favorite role it would have to be Miho, can't think of a better fit for the character, that divine voice plus her acting skills are a perfect match. But overall her kinda absurd range for voice acting and singing tbh, i need more Dotto covers or Original songs even man
